It looks like I have rust stains in my bottle. How do I clean this?Updated 2 years ago
While stainless steel is not completely impervious to rust, it does possess rust-resistant properties. If you happen to notice rust on your stainless steel bottle, you can take the following steps to address it:
- Create a mixture using baking soda or vinegar and apply it to the rusted area.
- Allow the mixture to sit on the rust spot for approximately 5-10 minutes to break down the rust.
- Using a soft sponge or bottle brush, gently scrub the affected area to remove the rust.
- Rinse the bottle thoroughly to remove any residue from the cleaning mixture.
If you find that you are unable to remove the rust using these methods, we recommend submitting a warranty claim for your bottle.
